Dr. Armooh holds a BSc, MBChB from KNUST, a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Sheffield, an MBA from Central University College, and has completed executive programs at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School and the University of Aberdeen.

The former CEO/MD of Acacia Health has over 2 decades of experience in Primary Health Care an over a decade of experience in Private Health insurance, within which he;

• Transformed a struggling health insurance company into a recognizable brand
• Led the post-acquisition business integration and launched robust technological platforms and
• Strengthened healthcare provider relationships and client service standards

During the period he also won several industry awards including

• Leading Acacia Health Insurance to Membership of the Ghana Club 100 companies on 5 consecutive occasions.
• Winning CEO of the Year for Private Health Insurance in 2018 and 2022
• Successfully growing insurance revenue from 6 million cedis to over 150 million cedis, representing an 867% growth over a 10year period
