Dr. Baabu is a Specialist Physician in Public Health and Preventive Medicine with over a decade of experience in practicing medicine and providing leadership in both the public and private healthcare sectors. He presently serves as the Medical Director of Acacia Medical Centre, where he leads a dedicated team of high-performers to deliver healthcare in an environment that re-affirms human dignity and deliver sustainable outcomes to all stakeholders.

He holds post-graduate specialist qualification in Community Medicine from the West African College of Physicians, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences, a Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), from the University of Ghana and a Master’s Degree in Public Health.

Dr. Baabu brings his knack for attention to detail, great communication skills, ability to handle complex roles simultaneously and affable personality to bear on a medical practice and a healthcare management model that puts the patient first and delivers immense value to all stakeholders.
