Responsibilities
• Provides oversight for development of a plan of care for each patient, including complete history, physical examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and /or referral, uses all available resources in an appropriate and cost-efficient manner.
• Responsible for conducting daily ward rounds for patients on detention at the ward and managing patients with the support of medical officers and other specialists.
• Run specialized clinics for identified patient groups.
• Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Order and interpret the results of laboratory tests as part of the physical examination and health management.
• Conduct health education and counselling during the physical exam, as appropriate, enabling the patient to make informed choices about health and treatment options.
• Be available for on-call duties.
• Lead the clinical team on management of cases

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with professional staff, local officials and the general public.

• Good conceptual skills.
Experience Requirement
• Minimum of a Doctor of Medicine degree (MBCHB) plus Registration and License to Practice in Ghana.
• Must be at least a member of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons or an equivalent college.
• Must have a minimum five (5) years post specialization experience.
The role reports to the Medical Director
Requirements
- MBChB or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Full Registration with Medical and Dental Council.
- 3+ years of experience in the profession.
- Pleasant personality, technology savy and committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Broad knowledge base of health sector policy and systems
